Memorial Day Camp
An annual rejuvenation retreat in the Poconos meant to recharge our batteries, and take us forward in our spiritual paths. Meet others in the Chinmaya family, like-minded spiritual aspirants, and dive into the timeless wisdom of Advaita Vedanta. Camp activities usually include Guided Meditation, Yoga, Vedanta Discourse by Swamiji, group discussions or workshops, devotional satsang, cultural performances, and recreational activities.

Vedantic Study with Swami Shantananda
Our resident acharya, Swami Shantananda conducts regular weekly classes on various scriptural texts, elucidating Advaita (oneness or non-duality) philosophy, including practical guidance on attaining peace happiness in our daily lives.
In addition, Swamiji conducts Jnana Yagnas, or 2-5 day intensive study programs at regular intervals throughout the year. These sessions serve as thought provoking crash courses, leading us forward in our spiritual paths.
All classes are free, and open to followers of all faiths. Drop-ins also welcome.
Festivals and Poojas at Vrindavan
All major festivals including Janmashtami, Ganesh Chathurthi, Navarathri, Diwali, etc. are celebrated at the Ashram with pooja and shloka chanting. All are welcome to join in the festivities.

Geeta and Vedanta Study
The Bhagavad-gita Course is authored by Pujya Swami Tejomayananda, the Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide. Pujya Swamiji is a master of Indian spiritual literature. He is a renowned teacher of Vedanta and an author of many commentaries as well as independent texts on Vedanta and Bhakti literature.
