Winter Youth Camp 2025 – Program Recap
Despite an unexpected winter storm and the cancellation of the first day for safety reasons, the Winter Youth Camp 2025 unfolded as a meaningful and vibrant experience over the remaining two days at Chinmaya Vrindavan. We were especially encouraged to welcome participants from outside New Jersey, including youth who traveled from Virginia and Delaware, reflecting the growing reach and enthusiasm for CHYK programs.

Beyond Desire, Beyond Action – The Gita Way
Through a thoughtfully designed schedule, Brni Stuti Chaitanya ji and Brni Akalka ji combined interactive pravachans, group discussions, hands-on workshops, games, and creative sessions to help participants explore the nature of desire, action, dharma, and conscious living in a practical and relatable way.

On Monday evening, youth gathered for a social hangout with pizza, games, and joyful karaoke singing, fostering connection and camaraderie
Bhajan Session
The camp concluded on a devotional note with a Bhajan session led by Brni Stuti Chaitanya ji and Brni Akalka ji. The session was filled with enthusiasm and bhakti, made especially lively with the use of tambourines and other instruments, allowing participants to express devotion through music and collective singing.
We are deeply grateful to our teachers, volunteers, and the youth who participated with sincerity, openness, and enthusiasm. The Winter Youth Camp once again reaffirmed the power of combining scriptural wisdom, meaningful dialogue, and joyful community experiences to support the inner growth of our youth.

Both teachers have completed the 2-year residential Vedanta course and regularly conduct satsangs and study groups for youth and adults, in addition to Bala Vihar. They bring clarity, warmth, and deep scriptural understanding in a way that is highly relatable to today’s youth.

CHYK INDUCTION CEREMONY DURING BALA VIHAR GRADUATION
This year during the Bala Vihar graduation, our current Yuva kendra members came and presented the graduating Bala Vihar students with a CHYK pin and shawl to welcome them to the Yuva Kendra. Brni Akalka ji spoke and said that their big brothers and sisters across the globe in the Yuva Kendra were ready to welcome them and guide them. We wish our graduates all success and look forward to their continued involvement in the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra program!
